Many utility companies are nowadays using, or starting to use the IEC60870-5-104 standard for telecontrol and the IEC61850 standard for substation automation. Utility companies all over the world are in different phases of migration projects in order to migrate to the IEC60870-5-104 and/or IEC61850 standards. Some companies have just started to investigate if these standards fulfill their needs, while other utilities already have years of experience.

The User Meeting is organized in a way that you can either participate in:
• the IEC60870-5-104 User Meeting on 6 November 2012
• the IEC61850 User Meeting on 7 November 2012
• or combine the CS104 and IEC61850 User Meetings from 6 – 8 November 2012, inclusive half a day with vendor information and presentations.
